BHAU BEEJ (DIWALI FESTIVAL) 2024.

BHAU BEEJ (DIWALI FESTIVAL) is also known as Bhai dooj. Lakshmi Pujan, Deep Pujan, Vasubaras, Diwali Padwa and Bhaubij are celebrated during Diwali. As soon as Padwa is over, Bhai Beeja comes smiling like BJ’s crescent moon. This year Bhaubij has come on 3rd November i.e. Sunday. Bhaubij is a day to witness the holy love of brother and sister. The festival of Bhaubij is celebrated when the second tithi of Shukla Paksha falls in the month of Kartik. This year it is on Sunday, November 3.

दिवाळीत लक्ष्मीपूजन, दीप पूजन, वसुबारस, दिवाळी पाडवा आणि भाऊबीज साजरी केली जाते. पाडवा संपताच बीजेच्या चंद्रकोरासारखी हसत-हसत भाऊबीज येते. यंदा भाऊबीज ही ३ नोव्हेंबरला म्हणजेच रविवारी आलेली आहे. भाऊबीज म्हणजे बहीण-भावाच्या पवित्र प्रेमाची साक्ष देणारा दिवस. कार्तिक महिन्यात शुक्ल पक्षाची दुसरी तिथी आल्यावर भाऊबीज हा सण साजरा केला जातो. यंदा हा ३ नोव्हेंबरला रविवारी आहे.

स्त्री ही वयाने, श्रीमंतीने कितीही मोठी झाली, तरी तिला भाऊबीजेला भावाने घातलेल्या ओवाळणीची अपूर्वाई वाटते; कारण त्यामागे त्याच्या पवित्र प्रेमाची ऊब असते.

भाऊबीजच्या दिवशी यमराज बहीण यमुनाला भेटायला येतो. त्यामुळे हा सण बहिण- भावाने यमुनेच्या तीरावर जाऊन साजरा करावा. यमुनेच्या तीरावर जाणे शक्य नसेल तर यमराज आणि यमुनेचे ध्यान करावे.
