नाशिकची रहाड संस्कृती...
भारतात फाल्गुन पौर्णिमेच्या दुसऱ्या दिवशी अर्थात धुलिवंदनाला रंगांचा उत्सव साजरा करतात तसेच काही ठिकाणी तो फाल्गुन कृष्णपंचमीला अर्थात रंगपंचमीलाच साजरा करतात पण नाशिक मध्ये हा रंगांचा उत्सव फक्त रंगपंचमीलाच साजरा केला जातो.
भारतातील सर्व प्रदेशात हा रंगांचा उत्सव आपल्या वैविधपूर्ण पद्धतीने खेळला जातो त्यातलं नाशिकचा वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे रहाडीत खेळण्यात येणारी रंगपंचमी.
रहाडीची उत्पत्ती मुळात आपल्याला पेशवेकाळात घेऊन जाते. पेशवे हे खरे रहाडींचे जनक पेशव्यांनीच २५० ते ३०० वर्षांपूर्वी दगड आणि चुन्यात या रहाडींचंं बांधकाम केलं. राहाडींची जर आपण वास्तुरचना पाहिली तर आपल्याला एक चौरसाकार हौद दिसून येतो बऱ्याच रहाडींची लांबी व रुंदी आपणास सारखीच आढळून येते नाशिकमध्ये आधी एकूण १८ रहाडी अस्तित्वात होत्या पण आता फक्त ५ पहावयास मिळतात.
१) काळाराम मंदिराच्या उत्तर दरवाज्याला असणाऱ्या शनी चौकातील,
२) गाडगेमहाराज पुलाजवळील दिल्ली दरवाज्याची,
३) तिवंद्यातील बुधा हलवाई जवळची
४)जुन्या तांबट लेन मधली
५)दंडे हनुमान चौक
६)तांबट आळी मधली रहाड
७) मधली होळी मधली रहाड
पेशवेकाळात या रहाडी पेशव्यांच्या सरदारांच्या अखत्यारीत होत्या त्या नंतर विविध तालमींच्या अखत्यारीत येऊन आता स्थानिक मंडळांजवळ सामावल्या आहेत
शनी चौका मधील रहाड
पेशवेकाळापासून असणाऱ्या या राहाडीची हि परंपरा आज शनी चौकातील शनी चौक मित्रमंडळ आणि सरदार रास्ते आखाडा अतिशय परंपरेने जपत आला आहे. शनिचौकातील हि रहाड १२×१२ (लांबी×रुंदी) अशी आहे . या रहाडीचा रंग हा गुलाबी ठरलेला आहे. त्याचपध्दत्तीने इतर राहाडींचेही रंग ठरलेले आहेत . त्यामुळे कुठला इसम कुठल्या रहाडितुन नुकताच डुंबून आला हे लगेच कळते.
रंगपंचमीच्या आदल्या दिवसापासून रहाडिचे उत्खनन करण्यास सुरुवात होते त्याचे संपूर्ण उत्खनन झाल्यानंतर तिची विधिवत पूजा केली जाते व नंतर रंग बनवण्यास सुरुवात होते रंग हा पूर्णपणे नैसर्गिक पध्दत्तीने बनवला जातो. पाने फुले हळद कुंकू हे सर्व पदार्थ एकत्र करून ते ४ ते ५ तास एका भांड्यात गरम करून एकत्र केले जातात.
रहाडीच वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे रंगपंचमी साजरी झाल्यानंतर ती पुरताना प्राचीन अशा असणाऱ्या बल्याचांच वापर केला जातो. (सागवानी लाकडाचे मोठे मोठे ओंडकेे) व रहाडीत आधीच्या रंगाचे पाणी अर्ध रहाड भरलेली अशा पद्धतीने ठेवून त्यावर उसाचे चिपाड व त्यावर माती या पद्धतीने पुरली जाते. अश्या प्राचीन लाकडी ओंडके अर्थात बल्याचा उपयोग फक्त याच रहाडीत होतो.
रंग बनवून संपूर्ण रहाड सजवल्यानंतर रंगाची पूजा होऊन , तो पहिला रंग सर्वप्रथम शनिचौकतील शनी देवावर व रास्ते तालमीच्या मारुती वर टाकला जातो व त्यांनतर दीक्षित घराण्यातील जेष्ठ व्यक्ती पहिली उडी पूर्व दिशेकडून टाकतात. या रहाडीत आपण काही तास डुंबलो तर दोन ते तीन दिवस आपल्या शरीरावरील रंग जात नाही.
दिल्लीदरवाजा येथील रहाड
पेशवे कालीन या राहाडीची देखभाल आणि मान समस्त तुरेवाले पंच मंडळ यांच्या कडे आहे. बेळे गुरुजी च्या घराण्याकडून विधिवत पूजा करून झाल्यावर ही राहाड सर्वासाठी खुली केली जाते. रहाडीचा आकार हा तुलनेने लहान असून त्या रहाडी पासून रंगपंचमीच्या दिवशी मिरवणूक निघते. या रहाडीचा रंग हा केशरी (लाल) ठरलेला असून त्यासाठी पळसाच्या फुलांचा उपयोग करतात.
तिवंधा चौका मधली रहाड
पेशवेकालीन रहाड ची धुरा आधी मधल्या होळी मध्ये राहणाऱ्या दिक्षित घराण्याकडे होती पण काही वर्षापासून हा मान तिवंधा मधील बाळासाहेब जलगावकर यांच्या कडे आहे. तसेच ह्या रहाडीची देखभाल आणि सांभाळ कलाविश्व मंडळ आणि हिंदमाता मंडळ यांच्या कडे अनेक वर्षा पासून आहे.
बुधा हलवाई च्या समोर तिवंधा चौकात ही रहाड असते , तशी ही रहाड १२×१० ची आहे आणि उंची १२ फूट खोल आहे. रहाड चा रंग पूर्णपणे नैसर्गिकरित्या बनवला जातो. ह्या रहाडीचा रंग पिवळा असतो.रहाडीची सगळी धुरा येथील स्थानिक मंडळाकडे आहे.
तांबट लेन मधली रहाड
पेशवेकालीन ही रहाड उंची ला १५ फूट खोल असून १०× १३ आकार आहे. येथील रंग हा केशरी किंवा लालसर असतो .येथील रहाडची जबाबदारी तांबट लेन मंडळाकडे आहे.
काजीपुरा /दंडे हनुमान चौका मधली रहाड पेशवेकालीन ही रहाड उंची ला १० ते १२ फूट खोल असून १५× २० आकार आहे.येथील रंग हा पिवळा केशरी असतो हळद व केशरी रंगांच्या फुलांचा त्यात वापर होतो .येथील रहाडची मान कलाल समाजबांधवांन कडे असून जबाबदारी दंडे हनुमान मित्र मंडळाकडे आहे. बाकीच्या रहाड ह्या आता काही कारणास्तव उघडण्यात येत नाही.
राहाड मध्ये आंघोळ करणे याला धप्पा असे ही संबोधतात.एकदा धप्पा मारला की बाजूच्या २० ते २५ माणसावर पाणी उडाले च समजा. उत्तम सूर मारणारा म्हणजे धप्पा मारणारा व्यक्ती राहाड मध्ये मनसोक्तपणे आनंद घेऊ शकतो.
नाशिक मध्ये अशी पण आख्यायिका आहे की रहाड म्हणजे काय तर – पूर्वी गल्लीतील तालमीच्या पेहलवान मंडळींच्या गटा तटाची शक्ती प्रदर्शनची जागा म्हणजे रहाड मानाली जायची. येथे कधी काळी कुस्तीचे सामने सुद्धा आयोजन केले जायचे.
कुस्तीच्या ह्या आयोजना मुळे येथे हाणामाऱ्या होत असे त्यामुळे राहाडा हा शद्बप्रयोग प्रचलित झाला असावा आणि त्याच्या वरून रहाड हा शब्द नाशिक लोकांच्या मनावर कोरला गेला आहे. नाशिक मधील लोकांची राहाड वर धप्पा मारल्या शिवाय रंगपंचमी पूर्ण होत नाही. ह्या रहाडीमध्ये धप्पा मारण्यासाठी नाशिक मधून च नव्हे तर विदेशातून पर्यटक येतात
