THIRD DAY OF NAVRATRI COLOUR AND GODDESS
During Navratri, Goddess Durga is worshiped in nine forms. ‘Chandraghanta’ is the third form of Goddess Durga. By worshiping the goddess in this form, our mind can be alert and control over our emotions. Strength grows. It helps to improve your personality. ‘Chandraghanta’, as the name suggests, gives peace of mind and self-strength.
नवरात्रीमध्ये दुर्गा देवीची नऊ रूपांमध्ये पूजा केली जाते. ‘चंद्रघंटा’ हे दुर्गेचे तिसरे रूप आहे. या रूपात देवीची पूजा केल्याने आपले मन सतर्क राहून आपल्या भावनांवर नियंत्रण ठेवता येते. शक्ती वाढते. हे तुमचे व्यक्तिमत्व सुधारण्यास मदत करते. नावाप्रमाणेच ‘चंद्रघंटा’ मनाला शांती आणि आत्मबल देते.
This third form of Goddess Durga is pacifying and benevolent. The goddess has an hour-shaped crescent on her head, so this form is called ‘Chandraghanta’. It is said that due to the grace of the goddess, the seeker gets many precious things, hears many sacred sounds. Worshiping this goddess gives us confidence, removes fear and brings humility.
देवी दुर्गेचे हे तिसरे रूप शांत आणि परोपकारी आहे. देवीच्या डोक्यावर तासाकृती चंद्रकोर आहे, म्हणून या रूपाला ‘चंद्रघंटा’ म्हणतात. असे म्हणतात की देवीच्या कृपेने साधकाला अनेक मौल्यवान वस्तू मिळतात, अनेक पवित्र नाद ऐकू येतात. या देवीची उपासना केल्याने आत्मविश्वास येतो, भीती दूर होते आणि नम्रता येते.
Form of Chandraghanta Devi:
All the deities and devotees were thrilled and happy with the sight of ‘Chandraghanta’ Devi. In the excitement of that joy, he adorned Shri Devi Mata with many ornaments. Shri Devi Mata’s neck is very full with various rituals, gold ornaments and the moon necklace around her neck. The entire body of the goddess is golden in color and is octagonal. We see all ten arms adorned with weapons and various ornaments. Dasabhuja is a symbol of the Dasadishas. The goddess makes everyone fearless by the sound of the bell in her hand. It excites the devotees by giving new life, new enthusiasm, new consciousness.
चंद्रघंटा देवीचे रूप:
चंद्रघंटा देवीच्या दर्शनाने सर्व देवता आणि भक्त रोमांचित आणि प्रसन्न झाले. त्या आनंदाच्या भरात त्यांनी श्री देवी मातेला अनेक अलंकारांनी सजवले. श्री देवी मातेच्या गळ्यात विविध विधी, सोन्याचे दागिने आणि गळ्यात चंद्राचा हार आहे. देवीचे संपूर्ण शरीर सोनेरी रंगाचे असून अष्टकोनी आहे. सर्व दहा हात शस्त्रे आणि विविध अलंकारांनी सजलेले आपल्याला दिसतात. दशभुजा हे दशदिशांचे प्रतीक आहे. देवी हातातल्या घंटाच्या आवाजाने सर्वांना निर्भय बनवते. नवसंजीवनी, नवा उत्साह, नवचैतन्य देऊन ते भक्तांना उत्तेजित करते.
Offering to Chandraghanta Devi:
Offer saffron colored pudding to Goddess Chandraghanta. Along with this you can use cloves, cardamom, panchmewa and other sweets made from milk. You can also keep sugar sweets in offering to the goddess and also offer pedha.
चंद्रघंटा देवीला अर्पण करणे:
चंद्रघंटा देवीला भगव्या रंगाची खीर अर्पण करा. यासोबत तुम्ही लवंग, वेलची, पंचमेवा आणि दुधापासून बनवलेल्या इतर मिठाई वापरू शकता. देवीला नैवेद्य दाखवताना साखरेची मिठाईही ठेवू शकता आणि पेढेही देऊ शकता.
