NAVRATRI 2024 DAY 8
Today is the 8th Mala of Navratri. The eighth festival of Navratri is also known as Durgashtami. Mahagauri is worshiped on this day. Siddhidatri form of Navadurga is worshiped on this day.
According to mythological belief, Goddess Mahagauri is known as the consort of Shiva. By worshiping Mahagauri, all wishes are fulfilled. This year, the eighth festival of Navratri is on October 10.
आज नवरात्रीची आठवी माळ आहे. नवरात्रीच्या आठव्या माळेला दुर्गाष्टमी असे देखील म्हटले जाते. या दिवशी महागौरीची पूजा केली जाते. या दिवशी नवदुर्गेच्या सिद्धिदात्री रुपाची पूजा करण्यात येते.
पौराणिक मान्यतेनुसार देवी महागौरी ही शिवाची अर्धांगिनी म्हणून ओळखली जाते. महागौरीची पूजा केल्याने सर्व मनोकामना पूर्ण होतात. यंदा नवरात्रीची आठवी माळ १० ऑक्टोबरला आहे.
The form of Goddess Mahagauri
Mahagauri is worshiped on the eighth day of Navratri. In this, the goddess is dressed in white clothes and ornaments. Devotees get happiness and prosperity in the form of Goddess Annapurna. Also, Mahagauri has a trident in one hand and a damru in the other hand. The third hand will give Abhay and the fourth hand will give Varamudra. Mahagauri is considered as the goddess of compassion and mercy.
देवी महागौरीचे रुप
नवरात्रीच्या आठव्या दिवशी महागौरीची पूजा केली जाते. यामध्ये देवीला पांढरे वस्त्र आणि दागिने परिधान करतात. देवी अन्नपूर्णेच्या रुपाने भक्तांना सुख आणि समृद्धी मिळते. तसेच महागौरीच्या एका हातात त्रिशूळ तर दुसऱ्या हातात डमरु आहे. तिसऱ्या हात अभय देणारा आणि चौथा हात हा वरमुद्रा देणार आहे. महागौरी ही करुणा आणि दयेची देवी मानली जाते.
Importance of worshiping Goddess Mahagauri
Mahagauri is considered as Goddess. According to legend, Mahagauri loves her devotees like children. She is known as the wife of Mahadeva. By worshiping Mahagauri, one gets rid of all troubles. It is also believed that people who are facing constant problems in their married life should worship Mahagauri.
देवी महागौरीच्या पूजेचे महत्त्व
महागौरी ही देवी मानले जाते. पौराणिक कथेनुसार महागौरीचे आपल्या भक्तांवर मुलांप्रमाणे प्रेम आहे. ती महादेवाची पत्नी म्हणून ओळखले जाते. महागौरीची पूजा केल्याने सर्व संकटांपासून मुक्ती मिळते. तसेच ज्या लोकांच्या वैवाहिक जीवनात सतत समस्या येत आहेत त्यांनी महागौरीची पूजा करावी असे मानले जाते.
Mahagauri Puja Ritual
Goddess Mahagauri is worshiped on the eighth day of Navratri. On this day first take bath and resolve fast.
Offer white clothes to Goddess Mahagauri. Also offer white flower to Mahagauri. Offer offerings to the goddess and chant aarti and mantras.
महागौरी पूजा विधी
नवरात्रीच्या आठव्या दिवशी देवी महागौरीची पूजा केली जाते. या दिवशी सर्वात आधी स्नान करुन व्रताचा संकल्प करा.
देवी महागौरीला पांढऱ्या रंगाचे कपडे अर्पण करा. तसेच महागौरीला पांढरे फूल अर्पण करा. देवीला नैवेद्य अर्पण करुन आरती आणि मंत्र म्हणा.
